Introduction

Introduction of autumn school "Hydrogen fuel cells & mobility":

Hydrogen is increasingly becoming a vital component across various industrial sectors. In particular, hydrogen-based electric vehicles have shown significant potential in numerous applications. As part of the European INTERREG project “Green SKHy” and in collaboration with European leading research institutes FEMTO-ST and FCLAB, this autumn school aims to provide students at various levels, as well as young professionals, with in-depth knowledge and the latest advancements in hydrogen fuel cell technology and fuel cell electric vehicles.

Topics:

  • Fuel cells principles & applications
  • Fuel cell modelling & simulations
  • Fuel cell tests & characterizations
  • Hybrid & fuel cell electric vehicles
  • Powertrain control & energy management
  • Hydrogen production & storage

The detailed program can be found here. Due to limited class capacity, registration will be validated based on the time of registration and the relevance of the applicant's background.

Highlight:

Additionally, the autumn school will include visits to hydrogen fuel cell-related companies and various social events.

Target group:

PhD, engineering, and master's students, as well as professionals with relevant backgrounds in fields such as electrical, mechanical, chemical, and mathematical sciences, are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to students who have completed at least two years of university education.
