8th DC PHS Workshop
The 8th meeting of the doctoral college "Port Hamiltonian Systems : modelling, numerics and control" will take place at
FEMTO-ST ENSMM Besançon, France from Monday 12 October to Wednesday 14 October 2026
The workshop is dedicated to Ph.D. students interested and working on the development and application of structured, energy-based methods for modeling, numerical approximation and control of multiphysical systems. It provide time and space for free discussion on port-Hamiltonian systems and their use for the design of controlled complex multi-physics systems, interaction with senior researcher and the presentation of the activities of the hosting institution.
The doctoral college on "port-Hamiltonian systems" is funded by the Franco-German University, with partner countries Germany, France, the Netherlands and Austria and aims at promoting the exchanges between PhD students and provides an institutional framework for the doctoral training and the mobility of young researchers by providing financial support for the workshops and research stays in the partner countries.
