Welcome !
The mission of the EX-MODELI Research Group is to federate and animate the activities of the French community in nonlinear dynamics in order to strengthen cooperation, to promote exchanges and the creation of new projects, to encourage the emergence of new ideas, to train young scientists and to reinforce the central place of the French community in the international landscape. The GdR is structured around the main idea of understanding and controlling non-linearities in order to create new functionalities (energy transfer, vibratory control, ...). This implies advanced developments on the modeling aspects by focusing on multi-physics couplings (piezoelectricity, electromagnetism, fluid-structure interaction, ...) and the development of advanced numerical and experimental methods for the analysis of these non-linear mechanical systems. By using the existing strong partnerships with downstream research, the goal of the GdR is also to promote the transfer of new ideas to industrial applications by encouraging the rapid application of the methods and tools developed to the sectors concerned (aeronautics, civil engineering, energy production, micro-electro-mechanical systems MEMS).
The GdR is supported by the CNRS since January 2023, and is a continuation of the GdR DYNOLIN (2011-2014, 2015-2018). It is attached to the Institute of Engineering and Systems Sciences, INSIS, and more particularly to the section 09.
If you are interested in participating in the actions of this group, do not hesitate to send us an email to be included in our mailing list!
We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting ...
