Welcome !

FEMTO-ST is delighted to host once again our annual Frontiers in Photonics Symposium which will be held Tuesday 19 November 2019. We are priveliged to be able to welcome seven internationally renowned scientists who will speak in a series of presentations running both morning and afternoon. A buffet lunch is included for all participants. The Symposium is an opportunity to bring together scientists, post-docs and PhD students around the broad theme of optics and to provide an informal environment for discussions and networking.

The maximum number of attendees is limited to 90.

Reservations will be accepted in the order they are received. (See the registration page)

FEMTO-ST is a joint research institute associated with CNRS (French National Centre for Scientific Research) and the University Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, with more than 700 staff and students working in many areas of applied physics including optics, mechanics, acoustics, robotics, nanotechnologies, energy, time-frequency metrology. The department of optics includes about 80 staff and students working in the fields of optoelectronics, nonlinear photonics, quantum optics, nano-photonics, and reservoir computing.
