International Workshop on Microphononics and applications

We have the great pleasure to invite you to participate to the MicroPhononics 2017 Worskhop, jointly organized by FEMTO-ST, in the frame of its Laboratory of Excellence ACTION, and the GdR META (GdR CNRS n°3759).

The aim of this workshop is to provide an overview of the current directions in the field of phononics at the micron scale, from a material, device and application perspective. The event targets both academic, industrial and R&D players and will be organized around topical sessions dedicated to:

  • RF telecommunication systems,
  • MEMS,
  • Sensors,
  • Microfluidics.

A specific session will be devoted to emerging trends and potential applications related to high-frequency SAW, acousto-electronics or sound-matter interaction. The program will feature invited and contributed talks and will be completed by panel discussions, poster sessions and lab tours, in the hope to foster interaction.
