Tuesday, March 9, 2021
Central European time zone : 4 PM to 7 PM
USA, Pacific time zone : 7 AM to 10 PM
The workshop will be held online through Zoom.
It will consist of plenary and short talks followed by voluntary discussions.
Plenary talks
Karl F. Böhringer, University of Washington: Moving drops on micro-structured surfaces
Peer Fischer, Max Planck Institute: Interfacial flows in chemically active systems
Massimo Mastrangeli, TU Delft: The fluid joint: a versatile assembly tool
Benoit Scheid, ULB: Interfacial dynamics in liquid films and ligament stretching
Each plenary speaker will give a 20-minutes talk about their work followed by 5 minutes of questions. Attendees will be able to write down questions in the chat during the talk, and then we will select some among them to pose. Therefore, we would appreciate if attendees kept the general chat for this purpose only, for any technical issue, please send a private message to one of the organisers.
Short presentations and discussion
This session will start with 3-minutes presentations from all the short talks speakers. Afterwards, we will open a breakout room for each speaker (not plenary speakers) to further present and discuss their work. Attendees will be able to choose which room they want to join and to switch rooms at any moment. We highly recommend to install the Zoom Client software (for free), otherwise you wont be able to switch rooms.
