Nonlinear Micro/Nanosystems symposium 2023

The abstract submission deadline for the Nonlinear Micro/Nanosystems symposium taking place at Grenoble, France on May 30th-31st, is postponed !

New deadline for one-page abstract submission: May 2nd.

Registration fees:

  • Non-permanents (PhD students, post-docs, ...):  100€
  • Permanents:  150€
  • Grenoble surroundings applicants:  50€ discounts available (firsts registered / firsts served)

This symposium will gather scientific experts on nonlinear systems at the micro/nanoscale, often facing similar methodological, modeling, and experimental challenges, but that seldom interact little because of the clustering of the different communities per application field. During two days, the latest advances in nonlinear dynamics in M/NEMS, and more generally in sub-mm devices and systems, will be presented through various talks and posters.

This gathering is the opportunity to consolidate this flourishing community, where nonlinear phenomena and exotic behaviors in micro/nanosystems are leveraged to explore new, disruptive opportunities.

The topics of this symposium and the confirmed invited speakers are:

  • Sensors and actuators
    • Ashwin Seshia, Cambridge University, Cambridge, UK
    • Jérôme Juillard, GeePs, Paris, France
  • Energy harvesting
    • Dimitri Galayko, LIP6, Paris, France
    • Adrien Morel, SYMME, Annecy-le-Vieux, France
  • Computation and machine learning
    • Pierpaolo Belardinelli, Polytechnic University of Marche, Ancona, Italy
    • Damien Querlioz, C2N, Paris, France
  • Model systems
    • Eddy Collin, Institut Néel, Grenoble, France
    • Xin Zhou, IEMN, Lille, France
