2nd Phase: Workshops building the micro-nanorobotics roadmaps
14:10 – 15:30 Workshop on dedicated topics
Objective: define key-challenges in the two following wide domains, divided in two groups:
- - Micronanorobotics for Healthcare & in-vitro applications
- - Micro-nanorobotics for microtech & nanotech industries and labs
Management Teams of the workgroups:
Application Domain | Leader | Reviewer | Time skipper |
Manufacturing | Michael Gauthier | Dave Cappelleri | Tobias Tiemerding |
Healthcare | Brad Nelson | Metin Sitti | Stéphane Régnier |
Process:
- 5 minutes: presentation of the domain by the leader, definition of the time skipper and of the reviewer.
- 10 minutes: first round table: presentation of the challenges and topics identified by each participant.
- 10 minutes: classification of the response and selection of one to three topics.
- 40 minutes: focused discussion on selected topics identifying the key current and future challenges.
- 10 minutes: preparation of the synthesis.
Material: paper board, post-its, felt pens
15:30 - 16:00 Break
16:00 - 17:00 Synthesis and Conclusion
Each group leader will present a synthesis in 5 minutes of the discussion following by 10 minutes discussions.
Process after the workshop:
- Group leader and reviewer will provide a writing synthesis of the meeting before October 3th
- A consolidated draft document describing the international roadmap of micro-nano-robotics will be sent to all the participants by Michael.
- Comment and improvement will be available during two months
- Final version should be available in December
